PHOTOGRAPHY
POLICY
Rawtenstall Cricket
Club is keen to promote positive images of young people playing
cricket
and is not banning
the use of photographic or video recording equipment.
However the Club
must protect the interests of young people.
The Executive
Committee has agreed that the following procedures must be followed
:
1. For Coaching
purposes the consent of a child's parents/guardians/carers must
be obtained
prior to any filming
taking place by completion of the appropriate form. The video
must be stored in a secure place.
The parents/guardians/cares
and young person must provide written consent if used for analysis
2. The club does
not allow photographing of child/children wither by camera,video
or mobile phone or any other means unless the prior written consent
of the Committee
, parents/guardians/carers is obtained
3. Before any
filming or photography takes place the child's written consent
must be obtained
4. Images must
convey the best principles and aspects of cricket, such as dress,
fairness and safety
5. Images must
not be sexual or expletive in nature nor open to obvious misinterpretation
or misuse.
6. Images must
only be taken by authorised person i.e. parents/guardians/carers
or authorised press.
7. All images
must be securely stored.
8. If a young
person (s) is named in a publication his/her photograph must not
be used
9. If a photograph
is used the young person(s) must not be named
10. Inappropriate
use of images must be reported to the Club Child Welfare Officer

POLICY
This Club is committed
to ensuring that equity is incorporated across all aspects of
its development.
In doing so it
acknowledges and adopts the following Sport England definition

* The Club is
committed to everyone having the right to enjoy their sport in
an environment free from threat of intimidation
harassment and
abuse
* All Club members
have a responsibility to oppose discriminatory behaviour and promote
equality of opporunity
* The Club will
deal with any incidence of discriminatory behaviour seriosly,according
to the Club disciplinary procedure.
