Lets sign him now

I was walking past the ground last Tuesday when I happened to hear some harsh antipodean expletives being banded out, it was Nathan doing some fielding drills with the lads at practice, he certainly wasn't suffering fools lightly or 'Molly Codling' them (like you do if you conform to E.C.B or politically correct guidelines) .Sport was never meant to be easy so why go easy when training ,it was great to see the lads respond with some hard graft and only the rain curtailed their endeavours. Personally in these times when you can get Pro's who you've never heard of and who just take the money and run it was a breath of fresh air and something I've wanted to see for years. Lets at least offer the lad terms for next season now and get on with hopefully pushing for the title.
I missed the pyjama party semi-final I was a bit under the weather and also not a big fan of 20/20 so stayed in and watched a Touch of Frost. Apparently only Nathan showed any kind of form.
The 3rd team game was once again cancelled due to the rain, the club must be losing a fortune with all these cancelled boys' games, but on a brighter note at least Captain Coconuts is keeping busy.
The weather also won the day for the top of the league clash with "OUR DAVIDS" team, a side which also included two former Lancashire and England players the Lloyds. It was great to see father and son call for a pint afterwards. David thought I'd added a bit of timber over the last few years and there's me thinking it was Dave Dawson's dodgy camera..
It was also great to see Peter Wood in the club for the second time since his recent illness ,I happened to mention to Warby
"Isn't it strange to see Woody drinking tea?"
"Yes I know Bob, but isn't it great not having to worry about him paying for his round"
I was quite proud on Sunday when I got the seal of approval for the last few weeks Blogs ,it came from a former B.R.G.S pupil who has in the past slated me so he's extinguished some of them nasty memories for now.
The clubhouse drawings still appear to be causing a stir, I over heard two blokes whilst they were perusing them
" I think there being a bit previous here"
"how do you mean?"
"Well it looks like they've ordered Curtains and Carpets before the first skip"
It looks like we may be weakened this weekend with more trips abroad and injurys so lets get behind the lads and hope for more wins
